STORMERS SIGN NEWCOMER

Former Coastal Carolina Star Comes to Lancaster

Outfielder Sebastian Alexander has become the fourth player signed by the Lancaster Stormers for the 2026 season, it was announced today by manager Ross Peeples.

Alexander, 24, will be in his second professional season after batting .292 in 32 games for the Frontier League’s Lake Erie Crushers in 2025.

Earlier last year, the Cleveland, Ohio native batted .318 with 10 homers and 28 stolen bases for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in his second season at the school.  He led his club, which finished second in the College World Series, with 54 RBI in a 69-game season.

The right-hander hitter also played at Kent State in his native Ohio and for Phoenix College at the JUCO level.

“Sebastian has come recommended to us as a solid player,” said Peeples.  “He played at a big-time college and has the College World Series experience.  He does a lot of things well and is an exciting athlete we are looking forward to having here.”

The Stormers open their season at the defending champion York Revolution on April 21 at 6:30.  Three days later, the club will lift the curtain on the 21st season of baseball at Penn Medicine Park against the rival Long Island Ducks.  Gametime is set for 6:45.
