BREMER WINS LEAGUE AWARD

Right-Hander Dominated August

Right-handed starting pitcher Noah Bremer was named the Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month for August, it was announced earlier today.

During the month, the Stormers’ ace made five starts and went 4-0 with a 2.17 ERA.  He covered 29 innings, allowing only 17 hits and eight runs (seven earned).  He walked nine over the course of August while striking out 36.

The California native opened the month with six shutout innings at Southern Maryland in an 8-1 win and finished with seven shutout frames and a season-high 10 strikeouts on August 26 at Charleston.

Bremer is currently fourth all-time in career wins as a Stormer with 29 and second all-time with 382 career strikeouts.  He has become only the sixth pitcher in the history of the Atlantic League to record three or more seasons with at least 100 strikeouts.
