TERDOSLAVICH CONTRACT PURCHASED BY NY METS

The contract of infielder Joey Terdoslavich has been purchased by the New York Mets, it has been announced. He will be reporting to the Mets’ Class AA affiliate in Binghamton, New York.

Terdoslavich, 29, played in 40 of the first 41 games of the season with Lancaster. The switch hitter was batting .275 with six homers and 28 RBI in those 40 contests. He made an immediate impact at Clipper Magazine Stadium, homering in each of his first two at bats, driving in five runs, in the 2018 home opener.

Prior to coming to Lancaster, Terdoslavich had spent a portion of three seasons with the Atlanta Braves. He appeared in 92 games at the Major League level from 2013-15.

He was with the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations the last two years.

“We are very happy for Joe,” said Barnstormers manager Ross Peeples. “He has done everything we have asked and has been very successful in the middle of our lineup. We wish him the best of luck.”
