Troy has served the game as a scout for MLB organizations including Houston, Toronto, and Tampa Bay, and has also contributed as a USA Baseball scout and coach. His coaching résumé extends into sports performance—he spent six years as Director of Sports Performance at Parisi Speed School and another six years as Director of Baseball Operations at Spooky Nook Sports, where he built a strong relationship with Manager Ross Peeples before officially joining the Stormers in 2019. In his current role, Troy handles first base coaching during home games and assists with game-day strategy and clubhouse management. Additionally, he oversees the entire youth baseball program at Penn Medicine Park—including organizing camps and clinics. Steffy’s background also includes certifications in arm care and sports biomechanics, reflecting a deep commitment to both athlete performance and well-being. His diverse experience—spanning performance training, scouting, coaching, and operations—makes him a key pillar of the Stormers organization.
