BARNSTORMERS ADD SPRING TRAINING GAME IN LEBANON COUNTY
Business Networking and Temporary Team Rename Unveil Part of Festivities
Lancaster, PA — The Lancaster Barnstormers have announced a bonus Spring Training Game on Good Friday, April 15, to be played at McGill Field, on the campus of Lebanon Valley College.
The day begins at 3 pm with a networking event for businesses in the Lebanon County and Northern Lancaster County areas, hosted by the Barnstormers, in partnership with the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Then, at 4 pm, a very special announcement will be made regarding a temporary team rename for the July 1-3 home series that will honor Lebanon County. In the month of March, fans were asked to submit team name suggestions to honor Lebanon County. Ultimately, one name was voted as the top choice. With the reveal of this name will also come an unveil of the design for the team jerseys.
Finally, at 4:30 pm, it will be time to “play ball!” The Barnstormers will take on the traveling Black Sox.
Businesses wishing to attend the mixer should contact Karen Groh (kgroh@lvchamber.org) at Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce to RSVP.
Admission to the Spring Training Game is FREE and all are welcome to attend.
Please note parking will be available in the lots on the west side of Route 934. Signs will be placed throughout the Lebanon Valley College campus to direct fans to the designated parking areas. Attendees will be instructed to turn east on Heisey Road and park in the first parking lot.
There’s plenty of baseball this spring and summer at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, too. Tickets are now on sale for all 2022 home games at www.LancasterBarnstormers.com.
