Unfortunately, we haven’t received the number of registrations that we had hoped for the NFL Girls Flag Football League. However, we have assembled a team of local flag instructors led by Elizabethtown coach Lance Beard and we are still proceeding with the league! The first 3 weeks of the season will be instructional weeks to teach the game and work on fundamentals. During the first 3 weeks we HIGHLY encourage your daughter to bring a friend to enjoy the instructional practices with them. Our hope is that following the 3-week instructional period we’ll be able to recruit other girls to join the league. That’s why bringing a friend is important! By week 4 our goal is to begin games.
Our first scheduled practice will take place Sunday, August 25th here at Clipper Magazine Stadium at 9AM. 10U will practice until 10AM with the older group continuing to 10:30AM. Please send your child with water, shoes or rubber cleats (no metal cleats are permitted), and football gloves and a mouth guard if you choose to.

Week 1: Sunday August 25th (9AM-10/10:30AM-12PM)
Week 2: Sunday Sept 8th (9AM-10/10:30AM-12PM)
Week 3: Sunday Sept 15th (9AM-10/10:30AM-12PM)
Week 4: Sunday Sept 22nd (9AM-10/10:30AM-12PM)
Week 5: Sunday Sept 29th (9AM-10/10:30AM-12PM)
Age Groups:
This league is for girls ages 5-17
General league format:
Player receives a NFL Club Uniform & Flag belt
6 v 6 format on 25-30 yd wide x 50 yd long fields
NO rush zone at the goal line & midfield line
Games are two 15-25 minute halves with one 1-minute time out/ half
9-10 maximum player rosters so everyone plays every game!
NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by “friend” or “coach” request. Single players will be placed on teams with some similarity and familiarity such as same school, neighborhood, organization, etc. as the other players on the team. But teams will be balanced.
ALL coaches are volunteer parents and NOT provided

All Coaches and Volunteers must provide the Commissioner of your league with a current Coaches certification and background check.
Safety is our main concern and goal for our players and we want to make sure we have proper and safe coaches.
Refund Policy:
FULL or 100% registration fee refund if requested before uniforms are ordered for the league which occurs 4 weeks prior to kickoff.
HALF or 50% registration fee refund if requested after uniforms are ordered and prior to the first game of the season
